Welcome to Clarksburg!
We are a small town located in southeastern Carroll County in West Tennessee. We like to think of ourselves as being a friendly community with a strong emphasis on traditional values like families, churches, and quality education. Interstate 40 is only five minutes south of us which makes Memphis or Nashville an easy two hour drive. City Hall is located within sight of Highway 22. It is the grey building immediately behind Kwik Mart at the intersection of Highway 22 and Clarksburg Road. Being a small town, we only have one full time employee -- the City Recorder. Office hours are 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The City Recorder has to attend meetings occasionally away from the office, so if a visit is planned, perhaps a phone call in advance would be advisable.
